A Horticultural entity established in 1987
Plant Marketing Limited, founded by Frank Roelofsen, supplied plants from Europe and the United States to the Canadian marketplace and visa versa. Recently our focus has been solely concentrated on in-person presentations, conflict resolutions and other activities that involve long distance travel.
Frank immigrated from The Netherlands and initially studied forestry but switched to horticulture by managing Solty's Garden Centre in Scarborough, Ontario. His next role was managing Paridon Horticultural, a flower bulb import/export company in Coquitlam B.C. After a couple of years out West he returned to Ontario to manage a White Rose Garden Centre in Unionville. Then before founding Plant Marketing he enjoyed a great 10-year working relationship with Sheridan Nurseries as their wholesale sales manager. Now he travels internationally, hoping to foster relationships between Canadian and foreign nurseries to facilitate a mutually beneficial trade in plants.
